Beating in Sync aims to raise community awareness of atrial fibrillation (Afib), the most common irregular heartbeat that affects at least 3 to 6 million people in the United States and over 37 million people worldwide. If left untreated, Afib can lead to serious complications including stroke and heart failure. These complications, along with its increasing prevalence in our society make education about this condition imperative. Our objective is to equip members with sufficient knowledge to be able to educate the greater Los Angeles community about Afib, and implement measures to prevent its occurrence entirely. Additionally, we seek to learn about the latest technologies pertaining to all aspects of Afib care, from those implemented in its detection and diagnosis, to those involved in treating this complex disease.
Bitcoin Bruins seeks to foster a community of bitcoiners at UCLA through meet-ups, workshops, and education sessions. Bitcoin is a revolutionary protocol with unlimited potential as both a reserve asset and a payments network. Many figures in the space make the analogy that Bitcoin is to money what the internet was to communication. There is lots to explore about the implications of that statement, and there is lots of innovation happening in the space at a rapid pace. We believe it is important to educate the community on bitcoin and the benefits it offers. We will connect with bitcoiners working on Bitcoin projects in LA and beyond through speaker Q&As on topics such as Lightning, self-custody, and much more. Above all, we will further the understanding of, and discussion around Bitcoin for UCLA students and all interested parties. Join our discord for more info and meeting plans: https://discord.gg/tccYmgFXdU

Founded by undergraduates-turned-Product Managers, Product Space is a nationwide student-led organization that cultivates tomorrow's product leaders by connecting top talent with educational resources and hands-on experience currently absent in universities. We've been down the rabbit holes of product management/marketing/design content online, and it's not fun — that's why we want to close the gap between talented students like you and the coolest roles in tech today. We close that gap through our flagship Fellowship program. The Fellowship is made up of 3 cohorts — Product Management, Product Marketing, and Product Design — headed up by 2 Leads with prior experience in the field. Fellows will go through weekly "product sense" workshops led by our Board and Leads. These workshops will teach you the basics of product and tech, from user research to usability testing to competitive analysis. Equipped with that foundation, your Leads will guide you through a portfolio-ready project that'll give you that hands-on experience you need to land an awesome product role.

Ultrasound is non-invasive, low cost imaging technique that when used appropriately has a high diagnostic power for many common conditions. As medicine moves to reduce unnecessary imaging studies and use safer and more cost effective imaging techniques, clinician performed and generalist ultrasound is becoming increasingly advocated.
Uncrewed Aerial Systems is all about designing aerial robots. Specifically, our team of UCLA students designs, manufactures, and tests custom drones for accomplishing a series of mission objectives, for various research and competition purposes. UAS@UCLA complements the undergraduate engineering education at UCLA by offering the chance to gain hands-on experience on a complex engineering project. This project requires members to not only think outside the box of their major, but also learn collaboration and management skills through experience. Ultimately, UAS@UCLA is a big commitment, but the skills that are taught on the team directly apply to the professional environments you will experience in later jobs and internships. Finally, UAS@UCLA is a family, and the connections you make on the team can not only serve to further your professional career, but also give you support during and beyond your time in the undergraduate programs offered at UCLA. One of the main goals is to grow our club's culture and attract not only the best engineers to join our program, but also develop a diversified team with extensive collaboration opportunities among other teams at UCLA and internal career resources for leading members into their dream internship/job position in the STEM fields.
